Prince O3 Speedport Tour Review
The Prince O3 Speedport Tour is the now well-established successor to the O3 Ozone Tour. The main difference is that the O-ports have become rectangular, as with the other rackets in the Speedport range. The new Speedports produce a noticeable increase in racket head speed which gives the racket better manoeuvrability. The result is increased power when used with a shorter swing and the ability to take the ball in short quickly and early. The Prince O3 Speedport Tour plays fairly head heavy, but adding an overgrip produced a very likeable even to head heavy balance, without the handle being too large. Drop shots were accurate and drives fly with characteristic Prince acceleration off the front wall. The pickup weight is also just enough to give enough to provide some purchase on the ball, but not so heavy that the racket will become overly heavy during the course of a match. The Prince Super Syngut 17 factory strings found in the O3 rackets are good quality, although strung rather too loosely for our liking. All in all, this a superb squash racket and comes highly recommended.
