Dunlop Aerogel 4D Pro Manufacturer's Description
At 5 and 7 o'clock the multi-directional properties of 4D braided cloth help stabilise the torsional twist at key points of the racket. At 3 and 9 o'clock one layer of 4D braided cloth provides the torsional stability previously only achievable with several layers of carbon fibre. As a result of only one layer being used insted of several this softer material also provides superb touch and feel at ball contact.
The Dunlop Aerogel 4D Pro is a pro player specification frame that features an even balance to generate greater momentum during swing cycle, thereby enhancing power. Reactive energy generated is delivered using 4D Braided tecnhnology to maintain control. A superbly constructed squash racket to drive the Dunlop Pro frame legacy forward.
Dunlop Aerogel 4D Pro Review
This racket builds on Dunlop's highly successful Pro range, adding 4D braiding to a precise and well-balanced advanced player frame. The Aerogal 4D Pro has an extra 5g swingweight and is weighted heavier in the head than others in the range, to add substance to shots and assist with placing the ball accurately. Despite Dunlop's even rating, this racket played head heavy in testing, as would be expected from its 38cm balance. Due to its light pickup weight and the small Dunlop handle, however, an overgrip can be added to achieve a more even balance. The extra power the racket generates was noticeable, despite the frame being really quite flexble. As with most Dunlop rackets, driving the ball straight to a length seemed easier. Control is also excellent, due to the smallish headsize and open throat design. Sweetspot quality is also enhanced by this. The build quality Dunlop claim for this racket holds up and all in all it is an excellent squash racket for those seeking power, control and accuracy in a versatile frame.
