    Dunlop Aerogel 4D Max

Dunlop Aerogel 4D Max Manufacturer's Description

At 5 and 7 o'clock the multi-directional properties of 4D braided cloth help stabilise the torsional twist at key points of the racket. At 3 and 9 o'clock one layer of 4D braided cloth provides the torsional stability previously only achievable with several layers of carbon fibre. As a result of only one layer being used insted of several this softer material also provides superb touch and feel at ball contact.

The Dunlop Aerogel 4D Max is the squash racket of choice for any intermediate/advanced player looking for pure power delivered through a tear drop headshape and long main strings. 4D Braiding ensures control and stability of racket power delivery.

    Dunlop Aerogel 4D Max Review

This is a power racket based on Dunlop's Max range with 4D braiding to add stiffness to the frame at 4 key points. The Aerogel 4D Max combines a teardrop headshape with long main strings to add power. Despite Dunlop's head light rating, this racket played slightly head heavy in testing. It feels heavier than its 137 gram weight would suggest, more like a 150 gram racket. The frame is fairly stiff and the extra power it generates is apparent from the first few shots. The large head helps reduce off-centre shots. This is not a touch player's racket, but if you are looking for ultimate power from a heavier 4D Braided frame with a larger headsize, the Aerogel 4D Max could be what you are after.

'i just received the racket and it looks really nice. i've been playing Dunlop GT-X that breaks easily. It feels heavier than expected and not head-light, but removing original grip it changes dramatically. it becomes more balanced. Also, if you hold racket on upper grip then you can feel head-light. it delivers tremendous power. lenght shots become so easily. you will need some time to get to this racket, but everall experience is really good. regarding dropshots...ufff...amazing, being heavier gives you more control on direction, althouh you cannot forget you play with drop-frame racket. overall, this is a nice racket and long-life expected'
